Chapter 41: Emery Jansen

It was still half an hour before seven in the morning when we arrived at Artem towering gates. I unbuckled my seatbelt and kissed Cain on the cheek before motioning for the car door.

“Leanna….”

I stopped and turned to look at him.

“I’ll have someone drive you home later.”

“No need, it’s just thirty minutes’ walk from here.”

Cain stared at me some more, yet he didn’t refute my words.

I smiled and pecked his lips. However, before I could pull away, his hand grabbed the back of my head while he slid his tongue inside my mouth.

“Ummpp!”

I didn’t struggle. Instead, I returned his intense kiss with the same vigor.

After a while, we heard ourselves panting and catching our breaths.

I playfully bit his chin before making my way out of his car, walking straight towards the University.

Before I entered the gates, I turned to wave at him goodbye.

The wide paved pathway going to the school proper was like a fantasy came out from a movie. Tall, towering trees on both sides of the trail. Leaves were falling and swaying together with the gentle summer breeze. Some students were riding their bike, but most were riding their luxurious and expensive car, making their way towards the reserved parking spot that would cost you a house just for a year of reservation.

“Leanna!!”

I turned and saw Zoe running towards me.

I smiled at her, not a bit of guilt of what I did to his fiancé.

“Zoe, so you’re also attending here?”

Zoe caught her breath before returning my smile.

“Yeah, I’ll be a first-year majoring in the arts. How about you?”

“Linguistic.”

Zoe was surprised for a moment, then she chuckled. “I guess I kind of expected that. You’re not the lady type to do music or ballet.”

I grinned and just shrugged my shoulders.

“Let’s go together.” She suggested, and I nodded.

If she’s still like this? Does it mean that she didn’t know what I did to his fiancé? Did they keep it a secret?

“You know….” Zoe wanted to say something, but then she shook her head. “Never mind.”

I raised an eyebrow, yet I didn’t push her.

Wow! Look at that sweet vintage car.”

“That’s the latest limited edition Benz. I heard that they only made four of it.”

“Who could possibly be riding that beauty?”

Zoe and I glanced at each other before we stared at the car curiously.

The car stopped just in front of the entrance of the large hall, and came out a stunning beautiful lady.

Her long white blonde hair was gently swaying with the breeze. Her big misty blue eyes coupled by that thick long lashes appeared so innocent, yet have that unyielding ferocity.

She was glowing under the morning light. She was like a Goddess that the world stopped the moment she stepped foot on the ground.

The people froze while they held their breathes as they savored the beauty in front of them.

The young woman’s grace and noble elegance were forged from birth and became so natural on her.

As expected of the naturally born pampered Princess. The precious diamond in everyone’s hand.
